Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate
Your journey begins from Marrakech, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka.We will stop to visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most impressive kasbahs in Morocco and a popular filming location.Later, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where we can explore the famous film studios. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we travel through the beautiful Skoura Oasis and visit the historic Kasbah Amridil.The journey continues to Kelaat M’Gouna, famous for its rose products and annual rose festival. Along the way, we may visit local nomad families to learn about their traditional lifestyle.In the evening we arrive in Dades Valley, where we spend the night in a traditional guesthouse.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we travel to Tinghir and visit the spectacular Todra Gorge, a beautiful canyon popular for hiking and climbing.After lunch, we continue the journey through Tinjdad, Erfoud, and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga.Here you will ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach a traditional desert camp where you will spend the night under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
Wake up early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast in Merzouga, we visit Rissani and continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil markets.Later we drive back to Ouarzazate through Draa Valley, passing desert towns such as Alnif and Tazarine. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
On the final day, we explore Ouarzazate and revisit the historic Ait Ben Haddou.After lunch, we drive back through the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech, where the tour ends with a drop-off at your accommodation or at Jemaa el-Fnaa.
