Day 1: Fez – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Your journey begins with a departure from Fez heading south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass through beautiful landscapes, cedar forests, and traditional Berber towns along the way.
After lunch in Midelt, continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley with its large palm groves and stunning scenery. Pass through the desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga near the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner and overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.
Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up early to admire the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast and a shower at the hotel, continue the journey toward Todra Gorges, one of the most impressive natural canyons in Morocco.
Enjoy walking between the high cliffs and exploring the beautiful landscapes. Later, travel to the scenic Dades Valley where you will spend the night in a charming hotel overlooking the valley.
Day 3: Todra Gorges – Alnif – Tazzarine – Zagora – M’Hamid
After breakfast, continue your adventure toward the southern desert regions. Travel through the towns of Alnif and Tazzarine before arriving in Zagora where you will stop for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy scenic views of the beautiful Draa Valley with its palm groves and traditional villages. Finally, arrive in the desert village of M’Hamid where dinner and overnight stay will be in a local guesthouse.
Day 4: M’Hamid – Erg Chegaga Desert
After breakfast, begin an exciting off-road journey across the desert toward the magnificent dunes of Erg Chegaga. The drive takes about two hours through remote desert landscapes.
Spend the day exploring the vast dunes and enjoying the peaceful desert atmosphere. In the evening, relax at a desert camp where you will enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in a nomadic tent under the starry sky.
Day 5: Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, continue your journey through the desert landscapes toward Lake Iriki, a dry lake famous for its fossils and unique scenery.
Pass through the town of Foum Zguid and continue the road toward Ouarzazate via Taznakht, known for its traditional Berber carpets. Arrive in Ouarzazate where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive historic villages in Morocco. This kasbah has been featured in many international films and TV series.
After exploring the site, continue the journey across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening where the tour ends.
