Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat
Your journey begins in Casablanca with a visit to the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and one of the few open to non-Muslim visitors.
In the afternoon, travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Dinner and overnight stay in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
After breakfast, depart from Rabat and travel to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities known for its impressive historical monuments.
Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in North Africa. After exploring the site, continue to Fez where you will spend the night in a traditional riad.
Day 3: Fez City Tour
Today you will discover the historic city of Fez with a guided tour. Visit the ancient Medina, the famous Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest university in the world), traditional souks, and historical monuments.
In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the city before returning to your riad.
Day 4: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, depart from Fez toward the Sahara Desert. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoy scenic landscapes along the way.
Pass through the towns of Midelt and Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Relax at the hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Explore Merzouga & Camel Trek
Spend the morning exploring the desert region around Merzouga including Khamlia village where you can enjoy traditional Gnawa music. You will also visit Dayet Srji, a seasonal salt lake that attracts birds such as flamingos.
In the afternoon, ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your desert camp. Enjoy a beautiful sunset, traditional dinner, Berber music, and a magical night under the desert stars.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges
After breakfast, depart from Merzouga and travel through the desert towns of Rissani, Erfoud, and Tinjdad.
Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges, known for their towering canyon walls and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy time to explore the area and take photos before spending the night nearby.
Day 7: Explore Todra Gorges
Today you will spend more time discovering the beautiful landscapes of Todra Gorges. Enjoy walking through the canyon and experiencing the natural beauty of the region.
You will also have the opportunity to taste traditional Moroccan cuisine in the area.
Day 8: Todra Gorges – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou
After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses toward Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” due to its famous film studios.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular filming location for many international movies.
Day 9: Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Arrive in Marrakech where you will visit the famous Jemaa El-Fna Square and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, the tour comes to an end. You can either finish your tour in Marrakech or return to Casablanca depending on your travel plans.
