Day 1: Fez – Merzouga Desert
Your journey begins in Fez. We travel through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou, where Barbary monkeys can often be seen.After lunch in Midelt, we continue through the scenic Tizi n’Talghamt toward the Tafilalt region, passing through Erfoud and Rissani.In the evening we arrive in Merzouga, where you will ride camels across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach a desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.After exploring the kasbah, we will enjoy lunch nearby before continuing our journey through the Valley of Roses, with a short stop in Kelaat M’Gouna, famous for its rose products and annual rose festival.In the afternoon, we drive through beautiful landscapes until we reach Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a local hotel or guesthouse.
Day 2: Merzouga – Dades Valley
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga village and continue the journey toward Todra Gorge.Here you can walk through the impressive canyon with its towering rock walls. In the afternoon we travel through the beautiful landscapes of Dades Valley, where we spend the night in a traditional guesthouse.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Marrakech
On the final day we travel to Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert”. After exploring the area, we visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most impressive kasbahs and a popular filming location for movies and TV series.Finally, we cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka before arriving in Marrakech, where the tour ends.
